In face of the status in quo that the psychological problem
of Chinese youth becomes increasingly serious, China Red Cross
Society National Health Education Program Office began to promote
Sunshine in Your Heart Project public-spirited activities in
April of 2004.
The host
said, "The psychological problem of the youth is also
an aspect we commonly pay attention to. Sunshine in Your Heart
Project targeting at current psychological problem with the
youth was officially launched in Beijing yesterday. China
Red Cross Society invites domestic and foreign psychology
educationists as well as CEOs of international enterprise
to go to a hundred national universities and colleges and
carry out popularity, publicizing and training activities
on psychological hygiene to teachers and students.
Project superintendent
of Sunshine in Your Heart Project Huang Mei said, "College
students have different mental status and psychological problems
in different grade during four years at school, thus we summarize
several issues according to this status about friendship, establishment
of confidence, problems in adolescence and option of careers.
Targeting at these problems with college students we held over
20 lectures."
The experts
analyze that college students have not completely blended
into society, but they have higher expectations for themselves.
When there is a gap between ideal and reality they easily
feel frustrated and further have psychological problems. According
to statistics from relevant aspect at present there are 16%
to 25% of college students meeting with psychological obstacles
in which anxiety, psychasthenia and compulsory are given priority
and this proportion tends to grow up.
